In response to the 2024 "Campaign to Make the World Cleaner", the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam, in collaboration with Can Tho's Department of Natural Resources and Environment, launched an environmental cleanup event on September 18. The activity focused on waste collection and ecological sanitation around the Cai Rang floating market in Ninh Kieu district.
Hue City to Receive Two Modern Garbage Compactor Trucks from WWF

By the end of September 2024, the World Wide Fund for Nature in Viet Nam (WWF-Vietnam), through the project "Hue - Plastic Smart Cities in Central Vietnam" (TVA Project), will donate two garbage compactor trucks valued at nearly 10 billion VND to Hue City (Thua Thien - Hue Province).
