Viet Nam Sells 17 Tons of CO2e Emission Reductions from Rice Cultivation

Net Zero Carbon Joint Stock Company has agreed to purchase nearly 17 tons of CO2e emission reductions from rice cultivation in Đắk Lắk province for $20 per ton. The company also awarded a CO2e emission reduction certificate to the Đắk Lắk Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. This marks the first successful sale of CO2e emission reductions from rice in Viet Nam, derived from the pilot model "Green Rice Solutions for Emission Reduction and Increased Productivity" in Dak Lak.
